# Round 2 checkpoint — Task 1: another-country Destination Poll

Date: 2026-09-27

## Result: PASS for isolated fixture UI flow; live backend/data not exercised

- Confirmed from `DestinationPollService._ensureDefaultPolls` that the poll-specific catalog is preferred and, when it has no matching rows, existing `tour_groups` catalog rows are used. Per-group poll rows are created lazily; source package rows are only read.
- Added a Japanese legacy-catalog policy fixture for Tokyo/Kyoto. It verifies the ordered `region_city` then `place_activity` seeds, city-bound places, and the existing package image asset paths.
- Added a Japanese Poll widget fixture covering city selection, city result, Tokyo-only place visibility, place vote, aggregate/rank rendering, and use of the existing Tokyo package image asset. No real account or business group was used.
- Ran the same two-stage Japanese poll flow on Android Emulator `emulator-5554` through the existing `integration_test` package. The UI/API client was exercised with an in-memory HTTP fixture; city and place votes were fixture responses, not writes to the live backend.
- The Tokyo/Kyoto image files load from the Flutter asset bundle; both package and Poll images continue to reference the existing destination image assets.
- Targeted verification passed:
  - `flutter test test/server/destination_poll_catalog_policy_test.dart test/widgets/destination_poll_entry_test.dart` — 15 passed.
  - Earlier focused Poll suite — 29 passed, including Poll lifecycle, Agency aggregate privacy, attribution, and chat-entry regressions.
- Emulator integration test passed: `flutter test integration_test/destination_poll_japan_test.dart -d emulator-5554` — 1 passed. This is actual Flutter rendering/interaction on the emulator but uses a mock HTTP fixture, not the live API/database.
- No DB connection/write, migration, business data, or cleanup was needed. In-memory fixtures were discarded at test completion. Group #115 and group #102 were not accessed or changed. The prior #115 snapshot hash remains the last direct database snapshot from Round 1: `c76515f589bff0dcd09922797e5671db8f8c0e23a26385296c856b83a9ea4d59`.

## Remaining
